Dr. Rajendra Aher

Dr. Rajendra Aher is a Neurosurgeon in Nashik. With a Master's degree (MS) in General Surgery and an MCh in Neurosurgery as his advanced qualifications, Dr. Aher commenced his specialist practice in 2013.

Earlier, Dr. Aher served as Registrar in the Department of Neurosurgery at Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, from August 2009 to January 2010, and subsequently was posted as Registrar under Professor Sanjiv Sinha at GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi from August 2010 to September 2013. He has also been associated as a Consultant Neurosurgeon with the Sahyadri Multispeciality Hospital (Pune), Sarvodaya Superspeciality Hospital (Faridabad), and Shri H N Reliance Hospital (Mumbai) besides having had professional stints in Nashik and Ahmednagar too. Dr. Aher was also associated as Consultant Neurosurgeon with Medipulse Hospital, Jodhpur. 

Dr. Rajendra Aher has undergone specialised training in various forms of surgery including microvascular and skull base surgery, spinal surgery, minimally invasive neurosurgery and neuroendoscopic surgery. He is also familiar with stereotactic neurosurgery and endovascular surgery, as well as ozone nucleolysis of spinal disc. In addition to his clinical work, he has been involved with research and clinical trials and has contributed several papers that have been published in medical journals or presented at conferences connected with neurology.
